County Art in Public Places
Committee (CAPP)
A sub-committee of the Arts Commission,
the County Art in Public Places Committee (CAPP) is responsible
for the development and implementation of the County Art
in Public Places program and manages the County's Percent
for Art funds. The CAPP Committee oversees the schedule
of the Arts Commission's two galleries - Betteravia Gallery
in Santa Maria and the Channing Peake Gallery in Santa Barbara.
Members of the CAPP Committee are appointed by the Santa
Barbara County Arts Commission.
There are no requests for artist, designer, or architect
proposals for Percent for Art projects at this time.
Experienced curators interested in proposing an exhibition
for the Channing Peake Gallery or Betteravia Center Gallery
